PLACING AN ORDER
All items shown are for sale unless otherwise marked. To purchase an item, follow the instructions of the shopping cart and provide as much information as possible. Merchandise will be set aside upon notification of the order. Shipment will occur upon receipt of full payment of the total purchase amount (including shipping and insurance). Refer to the SHIPPING section below for additional information.
If you would like to purchase an item that has already sold, please contact me. All items can be reproduced, however, keep in mind that each bead is made individually and it is nearly impossible to duplicate beads exactly. I will do my very best to make the beads as close to the original as possible. I would be happy to photograph the new piece when completed so that you may approve it prior to final payment and shipment. I require a minimum 50% nonrefundable deposit for custom orders, with the balance due prior to shipping.
SHIPPING TO US LOCATIONS
USPS First Class Mail is allowed for packages up to 13 ounces and will be delivered in 4-5 days from the date of mailing excluding Sundays and holidays. So that you have an idea of what 13 oz. is, my heaviest bracelet and earrings weigh 1.4 oz. including packaging. USPS Priority Mail will be delivered in 2-3 days from the date of mailing excluding Sundays and holidays. Contact me for USPS Express Mail or guaranteed overnight delivery rates.
Insurance is optional for First Class and Priority Mail, but I strongly recommend it as I can not be responsible for uninsured merchandise lost or damaged in transit. To determine your total purchase amount, add the merchandise total, the shipping fee of choice (the shopping cart will add these two items for you) and the insurance rate from below:
Value Insurance Rate
$ .01 - $ 50.00 $1.35
$ 50.01 - $100.00 $2.30
$100.01 - $200.00 $3.35
$200.01 - $300.00 $4.40
$300.01 - $400.00 $5.45
$400.01 - $500.00 $6.50
SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE US
Global Priority mail is available to Mexico, Canada, and most other countries. Please contact me for details.
PAYMENT
Payment can be made securely through Pay Pal using most major credit cards or by direct funds transfer. Another payment option is by US Money Order. Shipment of the order will occur upon receipt of full payment of the total purchase amount (including shipping and insurance). Therefore, orders paid through Pay Pal will be shipped immediately and orders paid by US Money Order will be shipped upon receipt of the Money Order.
Your total purchase amount includes the merchandise total, the shipping fee, and the insurance rate. If you are unsure of the total purchase amount, contact me for clarification prior to checkout. If you are purchasing items totalling $75 or more, shipping is free, however, you should include the appropriate insurance rate.
Personal checks can not be accepted. If you need to set up your free Pay Pal account, go to www.paypal.com.
REFUND POLICY
I want you, my customer, to be happy with your purchase. If you have any concerns regarding the jewelry you have purchased, please contact me and I will do everything I possibly can to solve the problem.
If we are unable to reach that goal, I will gladly refund to you the original listed purchase price of the jewelry item (not including shipping and insurance). For custom order jewelry items, I will refund 50% of the original listed purchase price of the item (not including shipping and insurance). Refunds will be made upon return of the jewelry item, subject to inspection of condition. I can not be responsible for lost or damaged merchandise shipped without insurance.
SIZING
The length of each bracelet (end to end) is included in the catalog entry. If the length needs to be adjusted, please let me know the exact measurement in inches. Adjustment at the time of purchase is free. There is an $8 prepaid fee for adjustment after delivery.
To measure your wrist, use a flexible tape measure and place it around your wrist. The tape will act as a "bracelet" and you can determine how loose or fitted you want your bracelet to be. Use a paper clip, spring clip or adhesive tape to hold the tape end to itself. Let the tape move up and down on your wrist to be sure you are comfortable with the movement and where it will fall on the back of your hand when your hand is down. If you don't have a tape measure, anything flexible will work, a belt, a ribbon, a necklace chain, a string, a strip of paper, anything that bends, then measure the length on a ruler or yard stick.
A bracelet that you already have can be used for measuring, but the type of closure mechanism it has can affect the measurement accuracy. If you are using a bracelet to measure and you are closing the bracelet, you need to also measure the length that the closure takes away from the bracelet when it is closed and subtract that from the overall length. The bracelet you receive will be the length you specify in inches end to end. Your instructions for sizing can be included in the memo area at checkout. You may also contact me with the sizing information.
Keep in mind that all of my bracelets are finished with a toggle closure. To engage the toggle, you must be able to pull the full length of the toggle rod through the toggle ring and then let it rest back against the toggle ring. To accomplish this, there must be at least a little wiggle room in the length of the bracelet. Therefore, you wouldn't want want your bracelet to be skin tight.
CARE AND CLEANING YOUR JEWELRY
Like all quality possessions, jewelry requires careful handling and maintenance. With proper handling and normal use, your lampwork bead and silver jewelry will provide you with years of enjoyment.
All of my lampwork beads are kiln annealed for strength, although like anything made of glass, they can be broken if dropped on a hard surface or if stepped on.
I assemble all of my jewelry with Sterling Silver components. Sterling Silver is a soft metal which can be affected by body oils, makeup, lotions, and the atmosphere. To keep your jewelry bright and shiny, wear it often. When not being worn, store it in the plastic bag provided. If needed, your jewelry can be cleaned with any commercial jewelry cleaning product that specifically states it is safe for "Sterling Silver jewelry". Be sure to follow the directions on the container. Any cleaner that is safe for Sterling Silver jewelry will not harm the glass beads. |
